Halls for wineries on a turnkey basis
We are based in Uherčice, in the middle of the Velkopavlovice wine region. Most of our winery buildings are a few kilometers from us. We supplied several wine halls for well-known wineries such as: Vinařství u Kaplička, Vinařství Buchtovi, Vinařství Vinofol, etc.
What we do differently with wine buildings
A winery is not a warehouse. The operation is seasonal, wet and full of technology, which has its own demands on the floor, temperature and transport.
Floors that can withstand acid
The processing plant is washed with pressurized water and the grape juice is aggressive. We design a slab with a durable coating, slopes and drainage channels.
Insulation and stable temperature
The wine warehouse needs a different temperature than the processing or shipping room. We therefore divide the hall into zones and insulate each one according to traffic.
Drainage and process water
Washing tanks, barrels and floors means high drains. We deal with the channels, lapels and connection to the operating water already in the project.
Carrying capacity for tanks and technology
Full stainless steel tanks, a basket and a filling line place a point load on the floor. Both the slab and the foundations are dimensioned to actual weights.
Entrances and handling during harvest
During the vintage, tractors with sidings and trucks drive into the hall. We design entrances, height and surfaces for peak traffic.
Tasting and visitor facilities
Today, the winery also sells an experience. We can build a tasting room, shop and social facilities into the hall without expanding the building.

Two halls 42 x 22.5 m — air-conditioned wine storage, bottling and sales.
Why build with us
One contract for the entire construction
Projection, steel, foundations and assembly are ours. You are not coordinating four companies, you are dealing with one.
We produce steel ourselves in Uherčice
We weld the structure in our own production a few kilometers from most wineries. The deadline does not depend on the supplier.
Own construction division
We make the foundations, slabs and reinforced surfaces by our own people. The parties waiting for each other do not take turns on the construction site.
Family business, third generation
The company is run by three executives from the Smetan family, we have been building since 1992. Behind the hall stands the name, not the project company.
We adapt the construction work to the vintage
We know that the vintage period is crucial for winemaking. That is why we plan the construction and assembly work schedule in such a way that it interferes as little as possible with the harvesting, processing of grapes and the normal operation of the winery. Your traffic is always a priority for us when planning.
How much does a winery hall cost?
4 500 000 – 8 500 000CZK building of around 500 m² with processing and storageThe wine hall moves higher than a normal warehouse due to insulation, durable floors and often cooling.
Subsidies can be drawn from several programs for wineries.
What winemakers ask
Allow 5-7 months from signature to handover depending on scope. The decision to harvest in September is made in February at the latest.
We do this routinely for additions and renovations. We plan the schedule and area coverage according to your operation.
A board with a resistant coating, slopes to channels and expansions outside the driving routes. A smooth board with waterproofing is sufficient for wine storage.
Yes, as a built-in or extension with glazing. The building does not increase the built-up area and is significantly cheaper than another object.
By insulating the envelope and dividing the hall into zones for which the cooling unit is dimensioned. The better the insulation, the lower the operating costs.
For processing plants, often yes, but the programs change every year. We will advise you on what you can currently apply for and adapt the documentation accordingly.
Call us right away
We can handle technical and price questions over the phone in a few minutes.
Let’s discuss your project
All you need is a plot of land and an idea of what you will do in the hall. We'll solve the rest together — we'll get back to you within 24 hours. And if you want to see it live first, come and see us in Uherčice.
