We are proud to announce the successful completion of a complex project at the EMERSON campus in Mikulov. Where we acted as a subcontractor steel structures for PSG Construction. The total weight of the delivered steel reaches 305 tons.
Unique elements of the project
One of the most interesting elements in this project are the northlight roof structures, which make up a total of 60 sets, spread over the entire roof of the building. This specific type of skylight was chosen with regard to the future installation of photovoltaic panels. Another element is the internal steel footbridge, which winds along the entire length of the internal wall of the building, its length is 152 meters.
Energy sustainability
Gray skylights not only do they add an aesthetic element to the overall design, but they also serve a key function in the future use of solar energy. The photovoltaic panels that will be installed on these skylights will provide energy sustainability and optimize the use of the roof area.
Company KovoSmetana s.r.o. also produced the construction of footbridges, railings, energobridge, staircases and steel exchanges throughout the area. The project was implemented with a high emphasis on the quality of materials and technical reliability.
"We are proud that we could be part of such a sophisticated project," says Jakub Smetana, managing director. This project is a demonstration of our ability to implement technologically demanding projects with high quality workmanship."
