What data do we process and why?

Inquiry form and email. Name, telephone, e-mail, or company name, ID number and address, parameters of the requested building and attachments that you send us. The purpose is to process your request and negotiate a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without this data, we cannot process the request.

Visit data. With the request, we also store the page from which you sent it, where you came to the website from and which pages you viewed before sending it. It serves so that we know what you are interested in and can respond with a relevant response (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). We store the IP address only in the form of a one-way fingerprint to protect the form from spam.

Contractual relationship. When concluding a contract, we process the data necessary for the performance of the contract, invoicing and the fulfillment of legal obligations (accounting and tax regulations).

How long we keep the data

• Inquiries that did not result in a contract: 3 years from the last contact.
• Contract information: for the duration of the contract and warranty period, accounting documents 10 years according to law.

To whom we transfer the data

We do not transfer data to third parties for their own purposes. They are only processed for us by the providers we need to operate — web and email hosting, accounting system — based on a processing contract. Form validation against spam is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile; it may process the IP address and technical data of the browser.

Cookies and traffic measurement

Essential cookies keep this website working. With your consent, we use Google Analytics for visitor statistics and Google Ads, Seznam/Sklik and Leady for advertising and business visit measurement. You can change your choice in the footer at any time. We measure form submissions without sending the contents of the completed form.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, portability and the right to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. Send the request to info@kovosmetana.cz; we will respond within 30 days. You can contact the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.gov.cz.
