For TVARBET MORAVIA a.s. in 2025, we produced and assembled the steel supporting structure of the sand removal conveyor in the Bzenec sand pit.

What exactly did we build?
About the project
The conveyor carries sand from the ground up to a height of 16 m. The steel structure is 64 m long, spans approximately 42 m in plan and weighs 21 tons.
- Lightweight carrier assembly: The lattice solution with inclined uprights and tie rods captures both vertical and longitudinal forces. Anchorage is to four foundation blocks.
- The passage remains free: The position of the supports respects the communication for trucks. The fields therefore have different lengths from 5.25 to 9.45 m.
- Ten Assembly Sections: The division is based on the possibilities of transport, crane and galvanizing bath. Continuity must hold the geometry throughout the ascending route.
- Protection in the sandbox: Galvanizing protects steel in outdoor environments with moisture and abrasive silica dust.
The location of the supports was determined by the operation of the sand pit: trucks must pass safely under the conveyor.
