What exactly did we build?
About the project
A wine warehouse with a silhouette close to normal buildings. The hall of Vinařství Kern is 10 x 15 m, an area of 150 m² and a height of 4.73 m in the gutter.
- A more prominent roof: The saddle slope of 20° determines the appearance of the building and supports the drainage of water and snow. The frames and lengths of the roof planes adapted to this shape.
- Construction: Steel S235 and S355 in EXC2, with polyurethane coating; the longitudinal module is approximately 5 m.
- Mineral mantle: The walls and roof are made of 100 mm mineral panels in RAL 9002 with a vapor barrier foil, according to the fire requirements of the building.
- Higher plinth: Facade panels start 0.5 m above the floor. The plinth protects the lowest belt from mechanical stress and water during frequent washing.
The 20-degree roof gives the wine building a more distinctive shape, while the higher plinth protects the skin in daily use.
