For Westfalia Metal s.r.o. in 2022, we produced and assembled the steel structure of the cladding of the automatic shelving system with dimensions of 5 × 5 × 16 m.

What exactly did we build?
About the project
Tempered cover for automatic racking. A 16 m high building was created on a floor plan of only 5 x 5 m, directly connected to the existing hall.
- Access from the inside: The operator switches to the technology directly from the hall, without going outside.
- Insulation for constant temperature: The shell consists of PIR panels with a thickness of 100 mm. Their insulating properties help maintain a stable environment and reduce heating costs.
- Accuracy for automatic filer: Slimness over 3:1 emphasizes stability and stiffness. The structure must withstand horizontal loads without deformations that would disturb the geometry of the shelving system.
Automation works inside — the accuracy of the structure is therefore just as important as its load-bearing capacity.
