Footbridge and product pipeline
As a subcontractor of ESOX spol. s.r.o. in 2024, we produced and assembled a steel footbridge over the river in Židlochovice.

What exactly did we build?
About the project
Thirty-three meters across the river in a single stroke. A 3 m wide footbridge connects the new LIDL shopping center with the urban area.
- Three parts due to zinc plating: The individual parts were made in the dimensions of the galvanizing bath. After hot-dip galvanizing, they were joined on the shore into the finished footbridge.
- Assembly as a whole: The mobile crane installed the structure on both supports at once, without mounting supports in the flow. Both the geometry and the attachment points had to take into account a different load during lifting than during normal operation.
- Protection of public buildings: Hot-dip zinc protects the steel against rain, road salt and minor surface damage.
The entire implementation took one month; assembly on the ground shortened the work above the river and helped meet the center's opening deadline.
