What exactly did we build?
About the project
Car service with facilities and housing under one roof. The 24 x 16 m hall, 5.5 m high, provides space for working with jacks and taller vehicles.
- Workshop and installation: On the ground floor of the building there is a customer reception, an office, a warehouse and social facilities. The first floor is used for private living; connection of operations requires dealing with noise, vibrations, fire department and different heating.
- Three lighted entrances: Two sectional doors 3 x 3 m and one 4 x 3 m have glazed aluminum sections in RAL 7016. Daylight helps to inspect vehicles and their surfaces.
- Foundations and floor: Reinforced concrete footings connect the waists and thresholds. Polished reinforced concrete with scattered reinforcement withstands point loads, reduces dust and facilitates the cleaning of operational dirt.
- Insulated Jacket: PIR panels RAL 9007 have 100 mm on the walls and 120 mm on the roof. sheet metal flashings are RAL 7016.
The most challenging combination: a noisy workshop below and a quiet residence directly above it.
