About the project

About the project

Three bays for different production needs. The Thermal Trend hall offers a total of 3,000 m², with height and equipment according to the specific operation.

  • Space division: The 66 x 28 m and 24 x 15 m bays are 9 m high and have 5 t cranes. The third bay, 24 x 30 m, is 4 m high and has no crane.
  • Connection to existing traffic: One nave adjoins the brick building including the crane runway. The rails had to be precisely connected in height and axis so that the crane could pass smoothly.
  • Free space and light: The main span of 28 m is without intermediate supports. Light strips bring daylight even into the center of the wide hall.
  • Four entrances: Three sectional doors 4 x 3 m and one 3 x 3 m have glazed aluminum sections and shade RAL 9002.
  • Casing and height transitions: PIR panels RAL 9002: walls 100 mm, roof 120 mm; sheet metal flashings RAL 7016. The transition between heights of 9 and 4 m required drainage and blown snow to be solved.

The new crane runway had to follow the original one to the millimeter — precise alignment preceded the production of the structure.
