What exactly did we build?
About the project
A workshop prepared for the repair and overhaul of large laser machines. The LS Laser Technology extension is approximately 26.9 x 20 m and has a crane path at a height of 7.2 m.
- General Delivery: It includes earthworks, foundations, sewers, steel, sheathing, windows and doors, skylight, sheet metal flashings, and design and workshop documentation.
- Machine handling: The crane creates the conditions for unloading, disassembling, lifting and reassembling large-scale technology.
- Light and ventilation: The 6 x 17 m skylight with 25 mm polycarbonate has three ventilation wings with electric servo drives. Its 102 m² brings light even into the center of the workshop.
- Steel insulation and protection: PIR roof is 145 mm, walls 120 mm. The S235 steel in EXC2 is blasted to Sa 2½ and protected with a 120 μm polyurethane coating. The fire ladder is hot-dip galvanized.
Almost a fifth of the roof is made up of a skylight — a significant help when working with optics, guidance and precise machine mechanics.
