In Břeclav, as a subcontractor of the company F&K&B, we delivered the steel structure and cladding of the warehouse hall with a floor plan of 20.0 × 50.45 m.

What exactly did we build?
About the project
The extension connects to the existing hall and includes photovoltaics. The external dimensions are 20.0 × 50.45 m, the clearance under the corner of the frame is 4.54 m and the attic is 5.70 m.
- Frame construction: Axial span 18.14 m and module 5 m. Articulated anchored IPE 400 columns support IPE 360 front with 3.5 m long ramps; the shield consists of IPE 240 with cross ventilation.
- Connecting old and new: The IPE 240 bracket bridges the gap to the existing building and moves the ridge off-axis. The detail respects different seating and drains water away from the joint.
- Roof composition: Trapeze TP 135/310/0.75, mineral wool 40 mm, EPS 180 mm and waterproofing. The skylights have a self-supporting frame.
- Vertical facade: The 120mm PIR panels rest on METSEC slats flush with the primary construction for a flush fit.
- Material and anchoring: Steel S235JR and S355J2, EXC2 version, glued anchors.
During the design, the structure already counted on an additional photovoltaic load of 0.2 kN/m², including the substructure.
