What exactly did we build?
About the project
Four floors of technology inside the finished building. A steel structure weighing 120 tons carries equipment for the production of food films.
- Dimensions and use: Four floors on a floor plan of approximately 25 x 15 m form the supporting structure for the production technology.
- Installation behind a closed roof: All the pieces went through the existing holes. Inside, they were mounted by small crawler cranes; it was not possible to open the roof or lower the structure from above with a truck crane.
- Construction according to access routes: The size, weight and order of the parts have adapted to the limited space. After the connection, they had to safely support all four floors.
The biggest challenge: getting 120 tons of steel inside and assembling it without opening the roof.
